About this Role
We are seeking a qualified commercial director to drive our revenue, develop our commercial strategy, grow our existing customer base and expand to new customers. Our ideal key commercial director has in-depth knowledge of and experience with the sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals. We’re seeking a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and someone with a track record of success who can inspire the same in others.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Represent our company, with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings
- Research customer needs and identify how our solutions meet them
- Achieve company objectives through effective planning, analysing performance data, and projecting future performance.
- Generate leads, and build and nurture client relationships.
- Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
- Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
Role Requirements
- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager
- Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
- Experience working cross-functionally and building alignment with go-to-market and revenue teams is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience at a start-up or small/mid-sized company is a plus
- Executional focus - strong bias for action
- Nice to have: familiarity working with SQL to manipulate and analyse data
- Nice to have: Bilingual - German Speaking
